Galliford Try is recruiting a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on local authority infrastructure projects across Bedfordshire, including a flagship national scheme. The role focuses on commercial performance, contract management and financial control, working with delivery teams, clients and supply chain partners to maximise value and manage risk.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the commercial function on infrastructure projects, ensuring effective cost control and financial performance.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, CVRs and commercial reporting.
• Oversee procurement and commercial management of subcontract packages.
• Administer NEC contracts and manage compensation events, variations and change control.
• Monitor commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Manage subcontractor payments, valuations, final accounts and contractual obligations.
• Work closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners.
• Support the successful delivery of project objectives through effective commercial governance and reporting.
