Galliford Try is recruiting a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on local authority infrastructure projects, including major national schemes. Based in the UK, you will manage budgets, reporting, procurement and NEC contract administration, working closely with delivery teams and clients to drive value and performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor in civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Experience with local authority/highways/public-sector infrastructure.
• Strong NEC contracts knowledge and change management.
• Experience managing project budgets, commercial reporting and subcontract packages.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Proactive in managing commercial risk and driving performance.

Responsabilités

• Lead the commercial function on infrastructure projects, ensuring cost control and financial performance.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, CVRs and commercial reporting.
• Oversee procurement and commercial management of subcontract packages.
• Administer NEC contracts and manage compensation events, variations and change control.
• Monitor commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
• Manage subcontractor payments, valuations, final accounts and contractual obligations.
• Work closely with operational teams, clients and supply chain partners.
• Support the successful delivery of project objectives through effective commercial governance and reporting.
