Qualifications

• Significant experience at Commercial Director / Senior Commercial Manager level.
• Strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure or major construction.
• Proven ability to lead sizeable commercial teams.
• Extensive NEC and contract management experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing strategic commercial leadership across the project.
• Leading and developing the commercial team.
• Establishing and implementing commercial strategy.
• Maintaining overall control of project financial performance.
• Overseeing forecasting, CVRs and cost-to-complete reporting.
• Managing commercial risk and opportunities.
• Leading major procurement and subcontract negotiations.
• Providing senior-level contract and commercial advice.
• Managing change, variations and commercial negotiations.
• Supporting dispute avoidance and resolution.
• Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensuring robust commercial governance across the project.
• Working closely with the Project Director and senior leadership team.
• Supporting wider business objectives and commercial strategy.
