Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd in London on a hybrid basis seeks a Project Director to take strategic ownership of a major, long‑term capital investment programme and lead the account. You will head an established multi‑discipline team, work closely with senior client stakeholders, develop the team, and drive commercial and operational performance across locations.

Qualifications

• Provide strategic leadership across a large capital programme.
• Proven ability to manage senior client stakeholders and deliver measurable improvements.
• Strong commercial awareness with P&L or account performance responsibility.
• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Health, safety, risk and governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across a large, multidisciplinary capital programme.
• Lead, develop and support an established management team.
• Act as trusted adviser to the client and build strong stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee a substantial portfolio of projects across multiple locations.
• Take responsibility for commercial and financial performance of the account.
• Protect and develop long-standing client relationships.
• Drive pace, accountability and value across the programme.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and value for the client.
• Use data, digital systems and KPIs to drive measurable improvements.
• Champion continuous improvement and better ways of working.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, risk and governance.
• Represent the programme at senior leadership level within the wider business.
