The Senior CNC Machinist Role:

Opportunity for a talented and motivated CNC Setter / Programmer to join the Machine Shop Team.

Senior CNC Machinist Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Set up and program sliding head CNC machines (e.g., Citizen, Star).
2. Interpret and work from detailed engineering drawings.
3. Perform in-process and final quality assurance checks on machined parts.
4. Maintain compliance with GMP and safety standards in the workshop.
5. Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to resolve machining issues.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:

1. Proficient in setting up and programming Citizen Machines or similar sliding head CNC machines.
2. Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings.
3. Knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes.
4. Experience in quality control/inspection techniques.
5. Understanding of GMP in a manufacturing or machining environment.
