Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is looking for a Senior Security Engineer in Chertsey, UK to design, build and run security solutions for a cloud-native platform serving millions of customers across multiple markets.

You’ll work hands-on in the Security Engineering team, turning policy into code, and embedding security into CI/CD. You’ll help with vulnerability management, monitoring, and incident response while collaborating with product and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying cloud-native applications and tooling.
• Hands-on AI security solutions experience.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Python, C#, Java, PowerShell or Bash.
• Knowledge of IAM, logging and monitoring practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy security controls across cloud-native platforms.
• Run password audits, vulnerability scans and intrusion detection.
• Automate security processes as code in CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct risk audits and translate findings into actions for engineering teams.
• Monitor system access logs, identify anomalies, assist incident response.
• Plan and test security backup and disaster recovery processes.
• Collaborate with 1st/2nd line InfoSec teams and engineers.
