Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com in Woking, Surrey, is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, build and run security solutions across our cloud-native platform, protecting millions of customers and partners.

You will implement guardrails, perform vulnerability scanning, automate security processes in CI/CD, and work with product and engineering teams to embed security by default. Strong coding and IaC/Compliance practices are valued.

Qualifications

Experience writing and deploying tooling into cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure or GCP).
Proficiency in at least one of C#, Python, Java, PowerShell or Bash, with a track record of automating security processes.
Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and Compliance as Code practices.
Comfort operating in Agile, DevOps-driven teams with frequent, continuous delivery.

Responsibilities

Design, build and deploy security controls and guardrails across cloud-native platforms, including AI security solutions for customer-facing products.
Run password audits, vulnerability scans and intrusion detection to identify and close gaps.
Automate security processes as code, embedding compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines shipped daily.
Monitor and analyse system access logs, flag anomalies and support incident response.
Plan and test security backup and disaster recovery processes to keep platforms resilient.
