Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com in Dartford seeks a Senior Security Engineer to design, build and operate security controls for our cloud-native platforms, including AI security guardrails. You will work hands-on with the Security Engineering team to ship secure code repeatedly across our global services.

The role emphasizes automation, vulnerability management, incident response, and collaboration with product and engineering teams to embed secure defaults and robust disaster recovery.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and deploying applications or tooling into cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Proven track record deploying AI security solutions and guardrails.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, Bash) with automation focus.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and run security controls and guardrails across cloud-native platforms.
• Run vulnerability scans and intrusion detection to close gaps.
• Automate security processes as code within CI/CD pipelines.
• Conduct risk audits and translate findings into engineering guidance.
• Monitor system logs and support incident response.
• Plan security backup and disaster recovery testing.
• Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line InfoSec teams and developers.
