Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Senior Security Engineer in Esher, Surrey. You will design, build and run security solutions across our cloud-native platform, supporting security for a large-scale, global delivery platform.

You will implement security controls, run scans and intrusion detection, automate processes, and collaborate with 1st/2nd line InfoSec teams and engineers to keep our systems resilient and secure.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying apps/tools in cloud-native environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience deploying AI security guardrails and defenses for AI systems used by customers.
• Proficiency in at least one: C#, Python, Java, PowerShell, or Bash, with automation of security processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and run security controls and guardrails across JET's cloud-native platforms, including AI security solutions.
• Run vulnerability scans, intrusion detection, and analyze system logs to close gaps.
• Automate security processes as code and embed CI/CD security checks.
• Conduct risk assessments and translate findings into practical recommendations for engineering teams.
• Partner with InfoSec teams and engineers to translate security work for product audiences.
