Job summary

Just Eat Takeaway.com is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to design, build and run security solutions for a cloud-native platform serving millions of users. You will contribute to vulnerability management, access monitoring and AI security guardrails across multiple markets.

In this role you will automate security processes, embed compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines, and partner with 1st/2nd line InfoSec teams to translate security risk into actionable engineering work.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering security tooling for cloud-native platforms.
• Proven ability to deploy AI security solutions and guardrails.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (C#, Python, Java, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Compliance as Code practices.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps driven teams and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy security controls and guardrails across cloud-native platforms including AI security solutions.
• Run vulnerability scans, access monitoring and intrusion detection to close gaps.
• Automate security processes as code and embed checks into CI/CD pipelines shipping daily.
• Conduct risk audits and translate findings into actionable guidance for engineering teams.
• Monitor system access logs, flag anomalies and support incident response.
• Plan and test security backup and disaster recovery to keep platforms resilient.
• Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line InfoSec teams translating technical work for product audiences.
