Sword Group is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to own operational health and governance of public and hybrid cloud services across customer environments. You will run production cloud services, focusing on resilience, automation, monitoring and secure, scalable operations.

The role involves technical escalation, diagnosing cross‑domain issues, and mentoring the engineering team while driving continuous improvement across cloud platforms and on‑premises integrations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise IT operations or production cloud experience.
• Certifications across major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) at admin/engineer level.
• ITIL Foundation or equivalent service-management qualification.

Responsabilités

• Own operational health, reliability, security and improvement of public/hybrid cloud services.
• Operate and maintain services across major cloud platforms (compute, storage, networking, identity, security).
• Support hybrid environments linking public cloud with on-premises and private clouds.
• Manage dependencies between cloud platforms, virtualization, networks, identities, databases and apps.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code and automation for deployment and recovery.
• Act as senior escalation point for incidents and performance issues.
