Job summary

Admiral Group Plc, via Admiral Money, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to work across multiple delivery squads in our TSS Engineering Chapter. This highly technical, hands-on role focuses on Cloud Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Security Engineering and AWS architecture.

You’ll own cross-functional initiatives spanning CI/CD, container orchestration, automation and cloud governance, while helping to establish engineering standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Cloud Platform Engineering experience, with AWS focus.
• Expert knowledge of AWS architecture and best practices; AWS Solutions Architect Professional cert (or equivalent).
• Strong IaC skills using Terraform, AWS CDK or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and improve AWS infrastructure and IAM, security controls and container platforms like Kubernetes.
• Architect and deliver cross-squad initiatives across CI/CD, automation and cloud governance.
• Mentor engineers, promote best practices and contribute to engineering standards and knowledge sharing.
• Drive reliability, observability and cost governance across Cloud Infrastructure.
