Job summary

Admiral Money is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to drive cloud infrastructure, platform engineering and DevOps across multiple squads. You will own Kubernetes, AWS architecture, IaC and secure-by-default patterns while mentoring engineers and setting engineering standards.

Role focuses on CI/CD, automation, cloud governance and secure scalability within a highly regulated environment and a strong people‑first culture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Cloud Platform Engineering experience, AWS focus.
• Expert knowledge of AWS architecture, services and best practices; AWS Solutions Architect Professional equivalent.
• Strong Infrastructure-as-Code skills using Terraform, AWS CDK or similar.
• Experience designing, implementing and operating secure, scalable VPC architectures.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes or ECS/Fargate and container orchestration.
• CI/CD pipelines using modern tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve AWS infrastructure, networking, IAM and container platforms.
• Design, implement and govern cloud infrastructure with security controls.
• Mentor engineers and promote best practices across the chapter.
