Job summary

Hypercube Consulting seeks a Cloud Infrastructure Platform Engineer to join a major cloud platform managed service for an energy-sector client. The role focuses on hands-on production Windows/Linux, Azure and AWS, operating in a hybrid multi-cloud environment with Azure Arc, OCI and Microsoft 365 components.

You will own complex incidents, changes and automation, working closely with the Platform Technical Lead and Platform Service Engineers.

Qualifications

• Hands-on production engineering in cloud and infra.
• Experience with AWS, Azure and hybrid multi-cloud setups.
• Familiarity with ITIL/ServiceNow processes is a plus.
• Baseline Disclosure Scotland check is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation and resolution of T2/T3 incidents across cloud and infra.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot production infrastructure in multi-cloud.
• Design and implement production infrastructure changes with clear plans.
• Support patching, vulnerability remediation and DR exercises.
• Automate recurring tasks and configuration management using IaC.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge to raise the team capability.
• Participate in on-call/escalation covering 24x7 incidents.
