Job summary

AWD online is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to own escalation-driven cloud and hybrid infrastructure work, spanning Microsoft 365, Azure, on-premises and hybrid environments.

You will diagnose complex incidents, drive sustainable resolutions within an ITIL-aligned framework, and collaborate with engineers and architects on design, implementation, migration and transition across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering third-line cloud support or projects in enterprise/service provider contexts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Azure infrastructure and Microsoft 365 apps including Exchange, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 security/compliance (Defender, Purview, Intune).
• Experience with Active Directory/Entra ID, Windows Server and on-premises/hybrid MS infra.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-line support for cloud and on-prem infrastructure, owning complex issues to resolution.
• Diagnose incidents, identify root causes and drive sustainable fixes.
• Design, implement and support cloud services for customers and users.
• Contribute to design, migration and transition across enterprise environments.
• Own small projects and contribute to service improvements and tech roadmap.
• Maintain Microsoft 365 and endpoint devices.
• Support Azure infrastructure and network elements.
• Ensure security and governance compliance.
• Develop SME knowledge and share expertise with colleagues.
• Participate in on-call rota.
