Job summary

Ipsen is seeking a Business Process Lead to own end-to-end Clinical Development processes in a global context. You will ensure quality, efficiency and improved clinical operations outcomes by defining objectives, governing SOPs, and guiding cross‑functional teams across CDO interfaces.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive GXP experience in clinical research, and a track record of managing process improvement initiatives within pharmaceutical development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in Pharmaceutical Industry with at least 5 years of GXP experience within clinical research.
• Well-developed skills and knowledge of clinical operations business processes (SOPs governing clinical research activities).
• Minimum 4 years experience in development, management and leadership of Clinical Operations Business Process.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Vision: Define Clinical Development Process Objectives aligned with R&D strategies.
• Set targets by embedding KPI in the CDO framework and processes.
• Design and maintain the process framework within the CDO organization.
• Support evaluation and selection of systems; ensure system/process integration across CDO functions.
• Governance & Compliance: Develop and maintain rules, procedures, controls; ensure adoption and corrective actions.
• Risk Management: Identify roadblocks/risks and implement mitigations.
• Track KPIs and report performance to leadership and asset teams.
• Drive continuous improvement to mature clinical development processes.
