Qualifications

• Claims-handling experience in EL/PL, PI, Mgmt Liability or Cyber.
• Ability to make informed policy coverage and liability decisions.
• Comfort working with brokers, insureds and solicitors.

Responsibilities

• Managing claims from notification through to settlement or resolution.
• Making sound decisions on policy coverage, liability, reserves and claims strategy.
• Working closely with brokers, insured clients, solicitors and other professional advisers.
• Keeping all parties properly informed throughout the claim.
• Identifying claims that require escalation or additional technical input.
• Contributing to the wider development of the claims team as the business grows.
• Building knowledge across additional product areas, including cyber where appropriate.
