Markel’s Leeds-based Prompt Resolution Team is seeking a Claims Handler to manage a portfolio of property, liability and other claims with hybrid working (4 days in the office, 1 day from home). You’ll own cases from first notification to resolution and build trusted relationships with brokers and customers while delivering excellent service.

You’ll progress your career through fully funded qualifications and structured paths, with support to develop into senior roles within the Markel Claims

Qualifications

• Experience handling Property Claims.
• Strong communication with customers and brokers.
• Able to work independently and manage own caseload.
• Willingness to pursue professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage varied caseloads from first notification to resolution.
• Handle low-value property damage claims.
• Review claims information and policy coverage.
• Liaise with customers, brokers, loss adjusters and third parties.
• Deliver excellent service within agreed timescales.
