Job summary

Parker Franklyn is seeking a Claims Handler to support commercial clients through the claims process from notification to settlement. You will advise clients, provide regular updates and maintain a high level of service while coordinating with insurers and third parties.

The role requires handling a varied caseload, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well within a broking team. Acturis experience is advantageous, with training available if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience handling commercial insurance claims
• Background in an insurance broker environment preferred
• Knowledge of commercial insurance classes
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage a busy caseload
• Confidence dealing with insurers and third parties
• Acturis experience or willingness to learn the system
• Positive, proactive approach and ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of commercial insurance claims from cradle to grave
• Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors and other third parties
• Provide clear advice and regular updates to clients
• Review policy wordings and coverage positions to understand entitlements
• Record and manage claims activity using Acturis
• Work closely with Account Executives and the broking team
