Job summary

PIB Insurance Brokers, part of PIB Group, is seeking an experienced Senior Claims Handler in Birmingham to manage end-to-end claims from notification to settlement, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will lead investigations, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, maintain records, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment, with a hybrid pattern of three days in the office and two days at home.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing complex cross-class claims (property & casualty).
• Solid understanding of insurance market, policy terms, coverage and claims procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and stakeholders.
• Customer-centric approach with high-quality service, problem solving and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end claims process from notification to settlement with accuracy and compliance.
• Provide proactive communication and timely issue resolution to claimants.
• Conduct investigations, gather documentation, assess damages, and negotiate fair settlements.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and company standards; report suspicious or fraudulent claims.
