Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen to work for this well-known shipowner within their claims and insurance department. You will be involved in assisting the claims department in the daily handling of a variety of claims across all insurance markets such as P&I, F&D, and H&M claims.

• Being point of contact and case holder for claims stemming from the client's owned fleet with a key focus on crew and cargo claims from inception to completion
• Maintaining all claim-related documentation including liaising with other parties regarding outstanding documentation
• Liaising with all third parties regarding any claims and general queries
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure that all claims processes are adhered to whilst issuing monthly reports, updating the status of finance/claims reconciliation

The ideal candidate for this role will be highly motivated and possess strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills. Applications are invited from candidates with current experience within a marine/claims or insurance environment.
