Job Description:

Due to significant expansion over the past 5 years and major client wins, we are seeking a Senior Claims Advocate/Executive to manage claims programs for selected UK P&C clients.

Clients may include well-known companies in retail, manufacturing, food & drink, hospitality, and logistics sectors.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, technical, and robust, reviewing policy coverage and advocating for clients to achieve excellent claims outcomes.

This role may involve drafting technical updates, executive summaries, delivering training, conducting claims audits, and demonstrating industry and regulatory knowledge.

Lockton operates in an agile environment; the candidate should be in a UK office at least once a week, with travel across the UK and potentially internationally.

About You

Your knowledge and expertise:

• Experience in a senior claims relationship or technical role within a major corporate, law firm, insurer, or broker.
• Extensive experience in PDBI, Motor, and Casualty claims, with a strong understanding of legal principles across insurance types.
• Excellent problem-solving and research skills to investigate technical issues and advise clients effectively.
• Experience with Motor, Employers’ Liability, Public Liability, Property Damage & Business Interruption claims, and some knowledge of Cyber, D&O, PI, PAT, Marine Cargo claims.
• Ability to understand client business issues, insurance needs, and expectations quickly.
• Confidence in advocating for clients on complex claims and presenting trends to senior stakeholders.
• Skill in analyzing claims data, including triangulations, deductibles, and cover variations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to represent Lockton professionally with clients, insurers, and industry peers.
• Knowledge of claims handling in the London Market and experience with global risks is advantageous.
