Job description

We have an opportunity for a Senior Claims Adjuster to join our Claims department at Tokio Marine Kiln. Reporting to the Head of Marine & Aviation Claims, you will assist in delivering the TMK Claims Business Plan.

The role includes responsibility for:

  1. Delivering a first-class service to all customers, through personal ownership and team management.
  2. Managing a portfolio of claims, including oversight of complex claims, either personally or through team support.
  3. Taking ownership of appraisal and objectives, including personal training and development to support the business plan.
  4. Developing and enhancing client relationships to ensure effective delivery of claims services.
  5. Collaborating with Underwriting teams on claims and wording issues to support profitable account development and retention.
  6. Ensuring fair customer outcomes and commerciality in decision-making, aligned with TMK values.
  7. Understanding the company's risk appetite concerning delegated authority, conduct, and financial crime.
  8. Championing company values and organizational behaviors.
  9. Complying with relevant rules and regulations related to financial crime and conduct.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of handling Marine and Aviation claims within the Lloyd’s market, with a good understanding of market practices and TMK’s core business classes. We seek an analytical team player willing to support cross-class skills when needed.
