Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead multi-disciplinary engineering design on flagship infrastructure projects. You will ensure designs are buildable, compliant, innovative and efficient, working closely with clients to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions across civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical domains.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience managing design through the full project lifecycle.
Strong understanding of integrated design delivery and managing consultant performance.
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Chartered Engineer status preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead design input on multi-disciplinary projects from early concepts through delivery.
Manage external design consultants and contract scope with the Project Manager.
Ensure designs are buildable, compliant, innovative and efficient.
Embed health, safety and environmental considerations into engineering and design solutions.
Coordinate across civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
