Job summary

Turner & Townsend in the United Kingdom is seeking an Engineering Design Manager to lead design input on multi-disciplinary projects, from concept through delivery, for critical national infrastructure.

You''ll work with clients and project teams to ensure designs are buildable, compliant, and innovative, embedding health, safety, and environmental considerations across civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical disciplines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience managing design through full lifecycle.
• Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and common data environments
• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering; Chartered preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead design input on multi-disciplinary projects from concept to delivery.
• Manage design consultants and external contractors under contract.
• Ensure designs are buildable, compliant, innovative and efficient.
• Embed health, safety and environmental considerations in designs.
• Coordinate across civil, structural, geotechnical, mechanical and electrical disciplines.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, project managers and contractors.
