Rolls-Royce plc in Derby/Warrington/Manchester is seeking a Senior Engineer / Analyst for Civil & Structural roles. You will lead analytical activities supporting the design and substantiation of reactor-related structures, delivering robust evidence under regulatory standards.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering degree, experience leading structural analysis in regulated environments, and strong FEA and materials knowledge.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Experience leading structural analysis activities in infrastructure or safety-critical environments
• Strong knowledge of finite element analysis and structural behaviour
• Experience with reinforced concrete and/or steel structures, including seismic/thermal/pressure loading

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, execution and interpretation of finite element analysis models for structural design and substantiation
• Define analysis approaches and model fidelity for complex loading scenarios
• Support the development of safety-classified structures with robust analytical evidence
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to inform and influence design decisions
