Job summary

Barhale is seeking a Project Manager to deliver multiple ongoing civil engineering projects to the required quality, schedule and commercial targets. You will work with Estimating, engineers and surveyors to ensure safety, customer satisfaction and timely handover.

Essential qualifications include Civil Engineering degree, CSCS manager’s card, SMSTS and NEBOSH Construction. The role offers career progression within a Gold Investors in People company and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple civil engineering projects.
• Ability to read and interpret NEC contracts.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
• Proven track record delivering on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Produce financial forecasts and monitor project costs.
• Deliver projects from design to completion with handover.
• Chair weekly site meetings and maintain records.
• Develop construction programmes and coordinate site investigations.
• Maintain relations with customers, suppliers and consultants.
• Chase potential new clients.
• Ensure HSE compliance and quality assurance.
