Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Chartered Civil Engineer to lead civil engineering projects within the nuclear lifecycle. You will guide site development, earthworks, drainage, and structural solutions while coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex programmes.

The role requires strong design leadership, familiarity with nuclear standards, and a focus on safety, risk management, and quality. Hybrid work arrangements and career development are featured.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE).
• Experience delivering civil engineering projects through the nuclear asset lifecycle.
• Experience leading design and delivery of civil solutions including site development, earthworks, drainage, highways and utilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of civil engineering projects and multidisciplinary workstreams across nuclear programmes.
• Define civil engineering solutions for site development, roads, drainage, earthworks and structures.
• Provide technical leadership and assurance to meet client requirements and standards.
• Lead feasibility studies, optioneering, site assessments and concept design activities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering disciplines.
• Mentor and develop civil engineering teams and support technical growth.
