Job summary

Mott MacDonald Bentley is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to work on major water and wastewater schemes from feasibility through construction. You’ll shape civil design across lifecycle, ensuring fit-for-purpose solutions and compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering and CEng chartership.
• Experience delivering high quality outputs to design, quality and safety standards.
• Strong communication with team and stakeholders.
• Methodical problem solving approach.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.

Responsibilities

• Provide design support for schemes and ensure designs meet standards.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational and construction teams across stages.
• Engage with client and manage relationships with a one-team approach.
• Manage interfaces between civil design and other disciplines; produce docs.
• Act as technical checker and conduct reviews across projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery with standard designs and digital tools.
• Undertake site reviews to ensure buildability and integration.
• Support development of the civil engineering team; mentoring engineers.
