Job summary

Holroyd Howe is hiring a Senior Chef de Partie to join the kitchen at Bethany School in a term-time schedule. You will support food preparation and maintain high standards, delivering daily meals and special events for pupils.

You will work within a team of professionals, focusing on fresh, seasonal dishes, accurate allergen management, and safe kitchen practices to ensure a positive dining experience for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Chef de Partie in contract catering environment.
• Passionate about fresh, seasonal food and presentation.
• Strong attention to detail and high food safety standards.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
• Lead breakfast, lunch and supper services for students and the school community.
• Motivate the team to deliver high standards of food and service.
• Ensure food safety and allergen controls are consistently met.
• Contribute to innovative menu planning.
• Manage mise en place and ensure smooth, timely service.
• Support events and functions alongside school life.
• Champion allergen controls and safety practices.
