Job summary

Holroyd Howe, a leading UK contract caterer serving independent schools, seeks a Senior Chef de Partie at Bethany School. You’ll support daily kitchen operations, lead breakfast, lunch and supper services, and help deliver high-quality meals for pupils.

You’ll work in a team-focused environment with emphasis on allergen controls, food safety, and customer service; training and development opportunities and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as Senior Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie in contract catering; education sector preferred.
• Passionate about fresh, seasonal food and creative presentation.
• Strong attention to detail and high food safety standards.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexible and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chefin daily kitchen operations
• Take the lead on the brekafast, lunch & supper services, creating a greatfood experience for students and school community
• Motivate the team to deliver high standards of food and service
• Ensure food safety and allergen controls are consistently met
• Contribute to innovative menu planning
• Manage mise en place and ensure smooth, timely service
• Support events and functions alongside school life
• Accountability for following and championing allergen controls
