Job summary

Holroyd Howe is hiring a Chef de Partie at New Hall School to support daily food preparation and maintain high standards across meals and events. You will help deliver fresh, seasonal dishes while upholding allergen controls in a school catering environment.

Joining a leading contract caterer, you will contribute to menu planning, champion food safety, and work as part of a dedicated kitchen team during term-time with opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

Ideally, experience as a Chef de Partie within a contract catering environment.
Passionate about fresh, seasonal food and creative presentation.
Strong attention to detail and high food safety standards.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
A flexible and proactive approach to work.

Responsibilities

Support the kitchen brigade in daily kitchen operations.
Motivate the team to deliver high standards of food and service.
Ensure food safety and allergen controls are consistently met.
Contribute to innovative menu planning.
Manage mise-en-place and ensure a smooth and timely service.
Support events and functions alongside the school calendar.
Accountability for following and championing allergen controls.
