De Vere Tortwort Court in Wotton-under-Edge is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to join our busy hotel kitchen. You’ll take ownership of your section and help deliver exceptional dining experiences across breakfast, conferences, restaurant, bars, weddings and events.

You’ll mentor junior chefs, maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene, and work calmly during peak service. This full-time role operates five days a week on a rota, including weekends and bank holidays, with a

Qualificações

• You’ll have previous experience as a Chef within a busy kitchen environment.
• You’ll have a great eye for detail and take pride in the food you prepare and present.
• You’ll enjoy being part of a brigade and supporting less experienced chefs to develop.
• You’ll be organised and able to work calmly and efficiently when service gets busy.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in running the kitchen, contributing to the overall success of the restaurant, outlet and banquets, in accordance with the hotel’s standards and financial goals.
• Work as part of a busy brigade preparing and delivering food across a variety of dining experiences.
• Take ownership of your section, preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to a consistently high standard while making sure service runs smoothly.
• Support our Commis, Demi Chefs and Chefs de Partie sharing your knowledge and helping them develop their skills and confidence.
• Work closely with the rest of the brigade, ensuring your section is organised and ready for service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene and health & safety.
