Job summary

Wadworth, Bartons Mill in Hampshire, is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen brigade. You’ll own your section during service, prepare and present dishes to specification, and help maintain high standards of quality, consistency and hygiene.

You'll mentor junior chefs, support stock control, and work closely with Head and Sous Chefs to deliver outstanding hospitality. Previous Chef de Partie experience and passion for fresh food are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar line cook role.
• Passion for fresh food and high culinary standards.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Excellent teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage and take ownership of your section during service.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to specification and high standards.
• Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation are maintained.
• Mentor and support Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
• Assist with stock control, rotation and waste minimisation.
• Collaborate with Head Chef, Sous Chef and kitchen team to deliver outstanding service.
• Contribute ideas to continually improve kitchen operation.
