Job summary

Soho House in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to support the kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional dining experiences for members and guests. You will prepare, cook, and present dishes aligned with the club’s food philosophy and standards.

You will demonstrate technical expertise, contribute to menu development, ensure allergy and dietary compliance, and mentor junior staff. The role offers comprehensive benefits and development opportunities within Soho House.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a busy high-profile venue.
• Passion for food, attention to detail.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Culinary qualification (NVQ Level 1 or 2) is a plus but not essential.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to high standards.
• Support Sous Chef and Head Chef during busy periods and events.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, allergy, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Take ownership of mise en place and prep tasks for service.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
