Job summary

AECOM in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior/Chartered Building Surveyor to deliver complex professional and higher value contract services for public and private clients. You will lead and mentor teams, manage service delivery, and drive client development while overseeing financial management across multiple projects.

You’ll apply a robust background in design and contract administration, support new technologies, and ensure compliance with legislation.

Qualifications

• Ideally Degree qualified in Building Surveying.
• Chartered Status Holder.
• Strong advisory and project management capabilities in Building Surveying.
• NEC3/4 knowledge preferred.
• Willingness to travel within UK and worldwide.
• Mentor for team members and lead by example.
• Security clearance experience or ability to obtain.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams and client-focused delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead on Building Surveying, Project Management, and Contract Administration commissions.
• Develop business with existing clients and win new work.
• Mentor Graduate Building Surveyors and team members.
• Ensure compliance with QSE procedures and manage budgets and invoicing.
• Produce drawings, specifications and tender documents as required.
• Monitor construction and perform quarterly snagging assessments.
