Job summary

AECOM in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead building services electrical design across complex projects. The role focuses on ownership of electrical design solutions, team leadership, and client interaction.

The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive senior-level experience, ability to mentor engineers, and provide input to technical proposals. Opportunities for overseas travel and international assignments are available.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in building services electrical engineering at principal level.
Proven ability to lead electrical engineering teams and projects.
Strong knowledge of Revit, DIALux, and electrical design standards.

Responsibilities

Take overall technical responsibility for the electrical engineering aspects of projects.
Lead the development and delivery of electrical design solutions from concept through to detailed design and project completion.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to electrical engineers and other project team members.
Review and approve electrical designs, calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
Coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines for effective multidisciplinary integration.
Mentor, develop and provide technical direction to less experienced engineers.
Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
