Job summary

Sodexo Ltd in Belfast is seeking an experienced Business Manager to lead the day-to-day catering and hospitality operation within a busy corporate environment. You will manage a team and ensure an excellent service is delivered to up to 500 customers.

You will oversee food quality, customer experience, and financial performance, driving continuous improvement while maintaining high standards and compliance with health & safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering and hospitality management environment.
• Proven experience managing, developing and engaging teams.
• Strong financial awareness with P&L responsibility.
• Excellent client and customer relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of health & safety requirements (e.g., HACCP/COSHH/CIEH).

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the catering team to create a high-performing environment.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery of catering and hospitality services.
• Build relationships with clients, customers and stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure food is prepared fresh and to consistently high standards.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer service and hospitality.
• Ensure dietary requirements and special requests are managed appropriately.
• Monitor delivery against standards, policies and legislation.
• Manage financial performance and ensure costs stay within budget.
• Identify opportunities to grow the business and improve financial performance.
