Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for one of our UK care homes. You will supervise a team of Care Assistants and support the clinical staff with medications, assessments and care plans while ensuring dignity and personalised care for each resident.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Must have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving residents individualised care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Respect residents' dignity and preferences and contribute to a warm, welcoming environment.
