Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead and inspire a team of Care Assistants under the Deputy General Manager. You will contribute to medication support, assessments, care plans and reviews while upholding dignity and person-centred care for residents.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required.
• Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is essential.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed to providing individualised resident care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Maintain residents' dignity, preferences and a warm, welcoming environment.
• Contribute to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
