Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for a care home in the United Kingdom. You will supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, and you will support the clinical team with medication, assessments, care plans, and reviews.

You will provide warm, person-centred care that respects residents’ dignity and preferences, while helping to create a welcoming and vibrant environment for everyone.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Deliver warm, person-centred care respecting residents' dignity and preferences.
