Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead and support a team of Care Assistants in a home setting. You will contribute to high-quality, person-centred care and work with the Deputy General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role involves clinical support in medication, assessments and care plans, while promoting a warm, respectful environment for every resident. Ongoing training and clear career development are available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Clinical care knowledge for the elderly.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to individualised care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Ensure dignity and personalised care for residents and maintain a warm, welcoming environment.
