Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support residents with person-centred care in our care home. You will supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, and assist the clinical team with medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.

We value warmth, compassion and a commitment to individualised care, with ongoing training opportunities and clear progression paths to roles such as Care Practitioner or Nursing.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care required.
• Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Maintain dignity and personalised care for each resident.
