Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant at one of our care homes in the United Kingdom. You will supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for residents.

You’ll support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or reviews, while always respecting residents’ dignity and preferences and helping create a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect, and contribute to a warm, welcoming and vibrant environment.
• Participate in developing and implementing personalised care plans for residents.
