Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for our care home in the United Kingdom. You will supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, while supporting the clinical team in areas like medication, assessments, and care plans.

You will ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect, contributing to a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that supports personalised care for each resident.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required to join as Senior Care Assistant.
• Specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is needed.
• Warm-hearted, compassionate and committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Respect residents' dignity and preferences and help maintain a warm, welcoming environment.
