Job summary

The Maples Care Home in Telford is seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Team Leader) for days and nights to lead the care team and ensure high-quality, person-centred care. You will work across day and night shifts, supporting residents and building relationships to promote wellbeing and safety.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a similar environment desirable.
• You need to be flexible, patient, with a caring attitude and a real people person.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• To professionally lead the care team at all times to ensure a safe, effective and well led care provision is maintained.
• Support residents to achieve outcomes through an enabling and supportive approach.
• Represent The Maples brand with a professional, welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
• Attend and actively contribute to team meetings.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the home.

Responsibilities and Duties
