Job summary

Cherry Tree Lodge in Kidderminster is seeking a Client Relations Manager (Heart Centred Salesperson / Customer Focus Lead) to build strong community ties, work with discharge teams, and help families choose full-time care with compassion.

The role requires excellent communication, IT skills, and a genuine people focus. You will drive occupancy, support the Home Manager, and manage social media and events to showcase exceptional personalised care.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience within a similar environment desirable.
• Flexible, patient with a ‘can do’ caring attitude and a real people person.
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Meet discharge teams at NHS and private hospitals.
• Liaise with discharge teams on referrals for enablement suite.
• Raise awareness of EQ Care in the local area.
• Foster relationships with social work and mental health teams.
• Create community events to break preconceptions of care homes.
• Support Home Manager and Customer Experience Leads with activities and social media presence.
• Help ensure high Google reviews and engagement on market tools.
• Be the face trusted to help families find solutions and information events.

Our Household Model has been designed to create a much smaller, more personal community. Rather than People feeling like they are living in a large care home, each household will be home to approximately 9–12 people living together, creating a genuine sense of community, familiarity and belonging.

Compassion is needed to help families through a difficult time and passion is needed to ensure that we achieve our occupancy targets and create great lives for the people who live in Cherry Tree Lodge Lodge

Responsibilities and Duties

• Meeting discharge teams at NHS and private hospitals
• Involvement in and liaison with discharge teams around referrals for our enablement suite
• Ensuring all businesses in the area know who we are and what we do
• Fostering fantastic relationships with social work and mental health teams
• Creating community events in order to break pre-conceptions of care homes
• Supporting the Home Manager and Customer Experience Leads to create purposeful activity
• Supporting the Home and Customer Experience Leads to ensure a day-to-day presence on social media including Facebook
• Driving scores high on Google reviews and Specialist Market tools
• Thinking outside the box – e.g charity days, supporting community drives or walking 26 miles!
• Being the face people trust to help get solutions to their needs
• Creating information events for older people and their families in the community
• Ensure the home is fully occupied
• Ensure the budgeted rate is achieved

Skills, Qualifications and Abilities
