Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join Oakmoor Lodge Care Home in Bushey. This luxury, 72‑bed home provides residential, dementia and respite care in a welcoming setting, with beautifully designed lounges, a hair and beauty salon, spa room and landscaped gardens near Bushey town centre.

You will lead with compassion, support the team and create exceptional moments for residents daily, delivering high‑quality personal care and medication administration throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Or willingness to work towards).
• Substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and a real passion for leading and delivering outstanding care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Reviewing and updating care plans.
• Giving personal care to residents.
• Administering medication and ensuring that social activities are provided during each shift

What You’ll Bring

• Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
