Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to step into a Team Leader role at Courtland Lodge Care Home in Watford. The post offers full-time or part-time hours and a pay rate of £16.32 per hour on weekdays and £17.32 per hour on weekends, with shifts from 7:30am to 2:30pm or 2:30pm to 9:30pm.

You will lead with compassion, review care plans, and ensure high standards of personal care while supporting residents to live well with dignity and joy in a 60-bed home.

Qualifications

• Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Desirable to hold a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Or willingness to work towards).
• Substantial experience of working with older people in a residential care setting and leading care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Taking a leadership role on a designated unit.
• Reviewing and updating care plans.
• Giving personal care to residents.
• Administering medication and ensuring that social activities are provided during each shift

We are seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at Courtland Lodge Care Home in Watford. This is a 60 bed heritage care home is set in a peaceful residential area of North Watford, with welcoming communal spaces, conveniently located within travel distance from Watford Town Centre and benefiting from excellent transport links.

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead with compassion, inspire the team and make a real difference every day. Turn your passion for care into leadership and help create exceptional moments for residents every day.

What You’ll Bring

• Essential to hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care.
