Job summary

Quantum Care is seeking a Care Assistant at Courtland Lodge Care Home in Watford to provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents. The role offers flexible hours under a flexible/bank contract, with shifts from 7.30am to 2.30pm or 2.30pm to 9.30pm, including weekends and Bank Holidays.

You will support residents with personal care, meals and daily activities, build strong relationships with families and colleagues, and follow individual care plans while upholding dignity and respect.

Pay: £13.61 per hour weekdays & £14.61 per hour weekends

Shift Times: 7.30am to 2.30pm/2.30pm to 9.30pm – Weekdays and alternative Weekends

We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our welcoming team at Courtland Lodge Care Home in Watford. This is a 60 bed heritage care home is set in a peaceful residential area of North Watford, with welcoming communal spaces, conveniently located within travel distance from Watford Town Centre and benefiting from excellent transport links.

As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate person-cantered care and support residents with respect and dignity to maintain independence.

What You’ll Bring

• It is not necessary to have previous experience of working in a similar care environment because, as long as you are an empathetic individual who has a positive attitude and good communication skills, our first-class training will do the rest.
• You will be able to undertake all aspects of caring for older people with compassion and respect in order to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our residents.
• Our staff have access to first class induction training and ongoing learning and development opportunities including the opportunity to work towards industry recognised qualifications.
• Our Homes operate on a 24/7, 365-day basis therefore you will need to be able to work shifts (including weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays).
• You must be aged 18 years or over to apply for this job.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
